Privacy Policy

Protecting your personal data is an important concern of mine. Below, I inform you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) about which data is collected when you visit this website and how I handle it.

2. Hosting & server log files

This website is hosted by ONLIGHT.DIGITAL (owner: Ievgen Markhai), Kaiser-Joseph-Str. 254, 79098 Freiburg, Germany. Processing by the hosting provider takes place on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. When the page is accessed, the server automatically stores information that your browser transmits in so-called server log files: browser type and version, operating system used, referrer URL, host name of the accessing computer, time of the server request and the anonymised IP address.

This data is not merged with other data sources. Processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO; the legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free, secure operation of the website. For security reasons, the log files are stored for a short period and then deleted.

3. Getting in touch

If you send me an enquiry via the contact form or by email, I process the data you provide — name, email address, occasion and your message — solely to handle your enquiry and for any follow-up questions.

The legal basis is Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b DSGVO (initiation or performance of a contract), insofar as your enquiry is aimed at a contract, otherwise Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. f DSGVO (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). The data is deleted as soon as processing is complete and no statutory retention obligations stand in the way. The data is not passed on to third parties.

4. Locally hosted fonts

This website uses fonts that are delivered locally from its own server. In doing so, there is no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts); your IP address is not transmitted to external providers for this purpose.

5. Cookies & local storage

This website uses no tracking or analytics cookies. Only technically necessary entries are stored on your device:

  • Language selection (cookie klim-lang): Stores your chosen language for future visits. Legal basis: § 25 Abs. 2 TDDDG.
  • Intro animation (SessionStorage klim:intro): Records within the current browser session that the intro animation has already played, so it does not repeat. Deleted automatically when the tab is closed — no personal identification possible.

Neither of these entries requires your consent.

6. No analytics & tracking tools

No web analytics services, no tracking and no social media plugins that transfer data to third parties are used. Links to social networks (e.g. Instagram) are pure hyperlinks — you only leave this website once you click on them.

7. SSL/TLS encryption

For security reasons, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” in your browser's address bar.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights:

  • Access to your stored data (Art. 15 DSGVO)
  • Rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 DSGVO)
  • Erasure (Art. 17 DSGVO)
  • Restriction of processing (Art. 18 DSGVO)
  • Data portability (Art. 20 DSGVO)
  • Objection to processing (Art. 21 DSGVO)
  • Complaint to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO)

To exercise your rights, an informal message to klimotionstudio@gmail.com is sufficient. For complaints under Art. 77 GDPR, the competent supervisory authority is the Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg (LfDI BW), Lautenschlagerstraße 20, 70173 Stuttgart, Germany.
